Prince Albert Winter Festival to Showcase Youth in the Arts

An eclectic cast of local youth will bring their talents to the stage of the E.A. Rawlinson February 17, 2019 in a new show dubbed Youth Extravaganza.

Produced by Pamela Cochet and Kayleigh Skomorowski, the theme of the show is ‘Celebrating Youth in the Arts’. The producers have drawn on Upstage Productions from Ecole St. Mary’s as the Tech Crew.

The back-up band will also feature local youth including Grant Alexander – Bass, Rilee Meckelborg – Drums, Kai Finnestad – Keyboards, Brett Sather – Guitar, and Caleb Hammond – Guitar.

Eleven performances have been scheduled to showcase the varied styles of talent in Youth Extravaganza. These include:

1. Youth band .. Method to Madness featuring Rachel Bear, Ezra Seed and Tearyn Janvier.

2. Barveenok Ukrainian Dancers

3. Ecole St Mary High School Jazz Band

4. Ecole St Mary’s Boys Chamber singers

5. Ashden School of Irish Dance

6. Riverside Jigging Club

7. Meath Park and district Ukrainian Dancers

8. Tap Dance Duo – Sean Overby and Claire Fischer

9. Lyrical Dance Solo – Sean Overby

10. Kerri English fiddlers…Fiddle Friends

11. Soloists: Faith Nelson, Rebecca Strong, Jayde Laughren, Kylie Vermette, Kaci Fecyk , Nick Tytula, Tazana Nilson.

     Tickets are $15.00, available at the E. A. Rawlinson for the 7:00 pm show.
